Wellbeing Offer

We offer sessions which support the individual or small group to help with a better understanding of their own wellbeing, how to lead a more healthier lifestyle, create balance and how to prioritise specific aspects of their life.

We live in a world where every waking minute of the day is jam-packed. May it be work, meetings, studying, parenting, social commitments, school run, after school clubs, friends, family, animals, caring responsibilities – the list can be endless and often find very little time for self care, rebalance and reflection time.

We all need time to recharge our batteries, reflect on circumstances and to prioritise our next steps. We often see this as the least of our priorities and therefore is the last to be addressed. In order to live a healthier and longer life we need to have balance.

Our wellbeing days focus on supporting individuals (often colleagues and staff within an organisation), allowing the colleague time away from their role with the emphasis on developing a greater understanding of their own wellbeing.

The focus is about understanding key aspects of positive wellbeing and the link between a healthier lifestyle and a happier working environment. This allows the individual some ‘me time’ to help them focus on key elements that contribute to positive wellbeing.

We believe that it is about effectively identifying our stresses whilst being able to manage our stresses and finding the right balance between our working lives.

Throughout the wellbeing day, individuals will engage in a physical activity session. This is offered to all individuals, regardless of ability and the sessions are taken at individuals pace, whilst offering individuals the chance to recognise the importance of engaging in physical activity and the impact this has on supporting positive wellbeing.

Some examples of the type topics we focus on during our wellbeing days are:

  • Physical activity – Engaging 1 hour session, the importance of physical activity and how this contributes to wellbeing
  • Nutrition – The positive effects of healthy eating and how this supports wellbeing
  • Yoga – 1 hour session – ‘Rest and Digest’
  • Mindfulness – Living in the moment, integrating into daily life and self help
  • Self care strategies (choice of 2 topics) – Coping with stress, wheel of life, mindfulness, self awareness, mind mapping and meditation
  • Managing stress

These sessions are delivered as workshops and are for those individuals who are looking to seek a positive work/life balance through taking time to step out of their environment and engage in some much needed ‘me time’. This time allows the individual to reflect and start to prioritise wellbeing using our approaches in everyday life.
